How we collect permission to send text messages
There are exactly two ways to end up on our text message list, and both require you to act. This page shows what you are shown, or told, before you agree.

About this policy
This is written in plain English and describes how Kende Systems actually operates — including how we handle calls, recordings, and text messages. It is current as of August 6, 2026 and we update it whenever our practices change. It describes our practices and is not legal advice. If anything here is unclear, or matters to a decision you are making, contact us and we will answer it directly.
The short version
Kende Systems sends text messages only to people who asked for them — either by ticking an optional box on our onboarding form, or by saying yes out loud when our AI receptionist asks during a call you placed to us. We do not buy lists, we do not text people who have not agreed, and we do not send marketing texts.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing, and mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
Path 1 — the checkbox on our onboarding form
Public, no login required. Anyone can open it and see the checkbox for themselves:
- English: kendesystems.com/onboarding
- Spanish: kendesystems.com/es/onboarding
The box sits near the bottom of the form, next to the field where you give us a phone number. It is unticked when the page loads, it is optional, and the form submits normally without it. Ticking it is the only way to turn it on.
What the checkbox says, word for word — English
Text messages (optional). I agree to receive text messages from Kende Systems about my onboarding and my agent — setup confirmations, the information we need, and updates on the build. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
In the form itself, Terms and Privacy Policy at the end of that sentence are links to our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Underneath the box the form adds: You can leave this unticked and still submit the form. We will not sell or share your number, and we do not send marketing texts.
Path 2 — saying yes on a call you placed to us
Our AI receptionist, Chloe, answers our published business line at 405-500-7894. She only ever answers calls that other people place to her — she does not make outbound calls, and this number is not used for cold calling.
Before any conversation begins, every caller is told that the call is recorded and that they are speaking with an AI. Then, before the call ends, Chloe asks for permission to text in these words:
What Chloe asks, word for word — English
And can I text you? You’d get two messages — a confirmation now and the setup form. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP any time to stop, or HELP for help. Nothing after that unless you write back.
Only a clear yes counts. Hesitation, a change of subject, or an unclear answer is recorded as a decline. She asks once and never asks a second time. If you say no, the form goes to your email instead.
You can take it back at any moment, in any words. You do not have to say STOP. If you tell Chloe not to text you — even after saying yes earlier in the same call — she agrees immediately and the record is marked as revoked. A revoked record is never overwritten by a later yes.
What we keep as proof
Every verbal consent is stored with:
- The date and time
- The call identifier, and a reference to the recording and transcript
- The question exactly as it was asked
- Your answer, quoted in your own words rather than summarised
Consent is checked immediately before every message is sent. A record without an affirmative consent value is never messaged.
What we send
Messages are about your own inquiry or your own onboarding, and nothing else — a confirmation of your call, the setup form when you have asked for it, requests for details we still need, and updates as your agent is built and goes live. Messages are sent in English or Spanish, matching the language you used.
Saying yes on a call authorises two messages: the confirmation and the setup form. Anything beyond that requires the checkbox on the onboarding form.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and you will be unsubscribed. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also just tell Chloe on a call, in whatever words you like, or contact us and we will do it for you.
